McClain - Martha Lillian

Martha Lillian, the two year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Clyde McClain, died Thursday morning. The child had been ill with colitis and it was thought best to take her to St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis, but she died just a few minutes before reaching there. Funeral services at the home near Ladoga on Sunday afternoon were conducted by Rev. OS Stewart. Quite a number of people from here were in attendance. Mr. & Mrs. McClain formerly lived just north of town and their friends sympathize with them in their loss. - transcribed by kbz
